We’re open to ideas that could include a number of strategies and collaborations.   Our primary criterion is if it is a fair arrangement that has mutual benefit to all parties.  Win, win, they call it.

We look forward to hearing from you.

The David G. Smith art collection comprises of about 150 paintings all intact and safely stored.  To date, no paintings have been sold (originals or reproductions).   About half of the paintings were done during the Covid period. So now the question is what next and how does one get started with a marketing program that would monetize an art collection and at what price point? The first thing asked is, “Do you have some images you could send me?” This is why the website was created and essentially it is a catalogue featuring part of a collection of paintings.   There is a sea of very good art out there.  It feels arrogant to think this art collection is super valuable. But the truth is, certain art is just that? It would be exciting to achieve elite art valuation but to do so is kind of mysterious. It seems to me it requires a guide.   So, our thought is to put the collection out there and seek input.

Also, there is an NFT section on the site. It is impossible to ignore this technology, especially in the art world.  Fundamentally it tethers the artist to an image for a long time and provides that the artist receives a sales commission each time the images trade. But it opens up another discussion which we have chosen to consider separately, although it could be comingled with an overall marketing strategy.
